Descriptions

Crouse Hinds Series B53 Watermate Male Flanged Connectors belong to the Watermate family of connectors which consist of the Series 51, 53, B51, and B53. These mechanisms permit leak-proof hull penetration. The Series B53 male connectors have flanged bodies to retain locking sleeves for positive plug retention and can mate with Series B51 Bulkhead Connectors.

Rubber-to-Rubber contact of specially formulated neoprene provides total sealing integrity. Unmated connectors should not be exposed to water for an extended period. Dummy connectors should be used to purge water from the contact surfaces and reduce corrosion. Extreme flexing and rough handling will reduce the useful life of these connectors.
