Klay is distinguished by a universal fit with performance and protection features, that double as design treatments commonly found in many of Kaenon’s best selling styles. Designed in California and made in Italy out of injection-molded TR-90, Klay’s wrapped, 8-base frame with tall temples provide element protection from sun, wind, water and dirt. Powerful, custom-engineered internal cam-driven hinges come standard, as do the SR-91 polarized lenses.
Kaenon Polarized introduced SR-91® lenses as the answer to all of the shortcomings of existing polarized lenses. SR-91 was tested in independent labs and confirmed to be the only polarized lens that offers razor-sharp clarity, impact-resistance and glare-reduction all in one ultra-lightweight and durable lens. The SR-91 exceeds ANSI Z87.1 for high impact resistance.
