Drierite® desiccants are made from the natural mineral, gypsum (Calcium Sulfate) and are available in several varieties and mesh sizes designed to solve all types of drying problems.
Drierite® is an all purpose drying agent for air, gases, refrigerants liquids and solvents. It is used to maintain a dry atmosphere in storage spaces, packaging, and other enclosures, subject to mildew, corrosion, rust or other deterioration caused by high humidity.
After normal use, any of the forms of Drierite® may be regenerated for reuse. The Operation is simple and involves only standard equipment.
Regular Drierite®
Regular Drierite® is of neutral pH, chemically inert — except toward water, insoluble in organic liquids, non-disintegrating, non-wetting, non-toxic, non-corrosive, economical to use and can be regenerated repeatedly for reuse.
Indicating Drierite®
Indicating Drierite® is blue when dry and changes to rose-red upon absorption of moisture. Color indication becomes valuable when it is important to know with certainty that dryness is being maintained, and to signal when the drying agent should be replaced.
